New research reveals that switching from whole to skim milk could help reduce migraines, offering a low-cost dietary tweak for millions affected by this disabling condition.

ADHD could impact your menstrual cycle. Some women say their ADHD seems worse in the later part of their menstrual cycle- symptoms flare and their medications don’t work as well. One study found that when estrogen levels are low, ADHD symptoms increase. Read about it here.

Health department layoffs means data on drug use and mental health could just sit there for years. Most teenagers don’t use drugs. There’s data to show that because of a 50-year-old government survey that may now be in jeopardy. The entire 17-member U.S. government team responsible for the National Survey on Drug Use and Health received layoff notices, as part of the overhaul of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
